Community Employment Placements
NCE Community Employment placements make it possible to gain valuable workplace experience and training. If you are eligible for a Community Employment Scheme (CE Scheme) and are looking for a position, then you are in the right place.
NCE have been running CE Schemes for over 30 years having been established in 1993. When on a CE Scheme, we can help you with further training - see how it works below.

How It Works:
The NCE Pathway
Our unique model connects community support directly to career opportunity. By using our campus enterprises, the public helps fund the infrastructure for this three-step journey back to employment for the long term unemployed.
Our pathway provides meaningful experience, certified skills and gives our CE placements the confidence to move forward into full-time employment.
Find a Community Employment (CE) Schemes that interests you. Apply with Our Support. We help you check your eligibility for the CE scheme and guide you through the process of applying for a specific placement with NCE.
Work in a Social Enterprise. You will work 19.5 hours per week in a structured, professional role within one of our public-facing enterprises (Café, Bakery, Laundry, etc.) or support services.
Achieve Certified Training. While you work, you gain access to free, accredited QQI training in your chosen field, ensuring you leave the scheme with both a current CV and an in-demand qualification.
