As a Research Assistant, you will support the collection, preservation and promotion of Cork's rich heritage by assisting with research, oral history interviews, digital recording, transcription and project administration. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to presentations, publications and community engagement activities while developing valuable research, communication and digital skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in heritage, research and administration while completing accredited training as part of the Community Employment (CE) Scheme.

Eligibility

Eligibility to participate on the Community Employment (CE) Scheme is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
