As a Support to Puppy Supervisor, you will assist with the day-to-day care and development of assistance dog puppies, helping to ensure they receive the support, socialisation and routine care they need. Duties may include assisting with puppy welfare, maintaining clean and safe environments, preparing equipment and supporting the Puppy Supervisor with daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in animal care while developing practical skills through accredited training as part of the Community Employment (CE) Scheme.
Eligibility
Eligibility to participate on the Community Employment (CE) Scheme is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
