NCE Bakery & Catering
NCE’s Bakery commenced when Northside Community Enterprises was based in the former Sunbeam premises in Blackpool in 2003. We moved to NCE’s Training & Education Campus, Farranferris in 2007 and have since gone from strength to strength.
Our team are passionate about every aspect of baking. Everything is made on site. Pastry is made by hand daily and our brown bread is renowned on the northside of Cork city. It’s made using a traditional time-tested recipe and has a distinctive taste and unique texture.
We use only the finest ingredients. Our bakery team are busy from the early hours, Monday to Friday, to give our customers fresh bread and cakes. The atmosphere in the bakery is a positive one, where each person knows their role in the process and is proud to be part of the team.
We are proud to offer excellent training opportunities on CE Placement at NCE’s Bakery, where participants gain invaluable experience and insights into the world of baking & patisserie with our Head Baker who has been baking for many years.

NCE boasts a fully equipped catering kitchen where we prepare a variety of meals and refreshments.
Our kitchen serves the Cup n Cino café, providing delicious food and beverages for our visitors. We also prepare nutritious dinners for the children in our creche, ensuring they receive balanced and wholesome meals. Beyond our day-to-day operations, we offer catering services for a wide range of events, including community group meetings, business functions, private parties, and social gatherings.
Whether it’s an intimate meeting or a larger celebration, our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, freshly prepared food that meets every occasion.
