Job Vacancy - School Aged Care Practitioner

 

Duties of the Role:

  • To assist in the day to day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-12 years old in a safe and secure environment.
  • Planning and implementing creative and exciting activities and play opportunities for the children.
  • Supporting children in social, emotional, physical development. Conflict resolution / behaviour management.
  • Working within the framework of the Centre’s and school’s policies and procedures.

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in working with children
  • First Aid Certificate an advantage
  • Child Protection training an advantage
  • QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education

Hours: 20 hours between the hours of 1.15pm and 5:15 Monday to Friday
