Relove Paint at NCE re-uses donated water-based paint from 2 Civic Amenity sites in Cork City and recycle it into premium quality paint for homeowners, community groups, contractors, and painters. We filter, recolour, and mix it into new, one-of-a-kind colours. Our premium quality paint is available at very affordable prices.

Relove Paint at NCE is a new Circular Economy Social Enterprise developed by NCE Outreach and its parent organisation Northside Community Enterprises (NCE) This project is the first of its kind in Cork City.

• We create training, work experience and employment opportunities, in a supportive environment, for our participants in NCE Outreach.
• We redirect waste paint from landfill back to consumers through our mixing, rebrand, retail and distribution operations.

Guidance for use on our one-of-a-kind paints

Please ensure you purchase enough paint from the batch to complete the job as each batch is unique.  We will be able to make a very similar colour again but we cannot guarantee that it will be the exact match.  As a general guide, 1 litre of paint should cover 10-12 square meters. Stir paint thoroughly before use and use as soon as possible. Store paint in dry conditions and protect from frost and extreme temperature.  Paint should be used no later than 4 to 6 weeks from purchase.  Clean brushes with warm water and mild soap suds.

Donating Paint

If you would like to donate paint, please bring it to either Kinsale Road Civic Amenity site in Cork City or Rafeen Civic Amenity in Cork County where you'll find a special area for donating your paint to Relove paint NCE. Please do not bring any paint to us here in Farranferris as we cannot accept any donations.
