Visitor's Centre

The Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne (locally known as the North Cathedral) Visitor's Centre was established in 2017 in the crypt of the Cathedral. The Visitor's Centre invites the public to view the various exhibitions relating to the history of the building and the wider community.

The Visitor's Centre also offers a cafe serving fresh food and baked goods from the NCE Bakery in Farranferris.

Cork Folklore Project

The Visitor's Centre is also home to the Cork Folklore Project, a non-profit community oral-history archive dedicated to digitally recording stories and memories of Cork to share with the community. At the Visitor's Centre you can visit their interactive Memory Wall and Memory Map which showcase samples of their collected stories.
