Cork WIN is a Local Training Initiative based in NCE Ltd. Since 2006 more than 300 trainees have taken part in our training programmes. Previous courses have included: Retail Sales, Warehouse Operations, Childcare, Sports & Recreation, and Exploring Options & Creative Media

Course Description: Cork WIN ‘IT & Customer Service’ delivers training in a range of skills needed for a variety of work environments. These skills are not just restricted to the office environment but are applicable to any workplace that involves information technology and customer care.

Full-Time Day Course

The programme aims to provide learners with the skill, knowledge and competencies to work in any contemporary office environment or progress to further education. Trainees will develop competencies in business communication, in person, by phone or electronically. There is a focus on the use of information technology and this course provides a good grounding in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, email and databases.

Cork WIN places a huge emphasis on progression. We work closely with trainees and employers to assist progression onto employment. Many of our trainees have progressed onto full and part-time employment as a result of their work experience. Many others have returned to training and education.
